Information about Emily

I`ve been working with primary-age children for over a decade — as a class teacher, a teaching assistant, and for nine years as a private tutor — and it`s the work I find most rewarding. There`s something really satisfying about watching a child who has been struggling with something suddenly find their footing.
I specialise in primary English and verbal and non-verbal reasoning, including 11+ preparation. I work with children across the full primary age range and I tailor every session to the individual child — their pace, their personality, and what they actually need, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I hold a Primary PGCE from Roehampton University and have taught across a range of London schools as well as tutoring privately. I keep parents in the loop throughout and I`m always happy to have a conversation about how things are going.
I`m based in London and available for online sessions.
