An enthusiastic and self-motivated person, who is highly qualified, with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability as a successful teacher and tutor. I am committed to providing a high quality learning experience and aim to boost the confidence and self- esteem of my pupils by delivering relevant and practical skills to meets their individual needs and abilities. By creating an environment conducive to learning and offering support and guidance, where appropriate, I would enhance the learning journey of all pupils and students in my care.


Although my original qualifications led me into teaching Modern Foreign Languages, I later retrained in Adult Literacy and Numeracy, in which I gained a Level 5 qualification. In recent years, I have moved into different areas of teaching, from working in a P R U to helping out in specialist schools for children with disabilities. I continue to keep my languages up to date in my German evening class as well as in my role as private tutor.

Experience: Many years` experience as teacher in secondary schools, then more recently in adult and further education.Currently employed as supply teacher and private tutor. My daily work takes me to primary and secondary schools, where I work with pupils of all ages, teaching curriculum subjects. I also have regular work in a children`s nursery and have recent experience of working with young people with disabilities, both at home and in a school environment.
