I am a First Class Honours Economics BSc Graduate from the University of Southampton with a longstanding passion for teaching. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, which ranges from KS1-GCSE. Additionally, I have worked in a school as a Voluntary Maths Assistant Teacher at a local school during my gap year where I also tailored support sessions for students for both GCSE and A level.

I myself have a strong academic background, achieving 8 A*’s and 4 A’s and a distinction in Additional Maths at GCSE and 4 A levels in Maths, Chemistry, Economics and History. So, I believe I would be a good fit to elucidate in easy- to-understand language complex terms and concepts to students.

As a recent graduate, I whole heartedly appreciate the stress that students are facing, and I believe my job as a tutor is to make the teaching as engaging and thorough as possible ahead of their exams. I believe that given focused attention and commitment students can achieve their desired grades and I believe I have previously achieved this by identifying educational needs and thus tailoring the individualised teaching to their needs and learning styles.

Experience: - Professional Tutor. I have been tutoring GCSE, 11+, KS1 and KS3 for 6 years to students of a range of abilities. This included conducting assessments to identify needs and thus tailoring lessons for students to support their weaknesses as well teaching new material to help students get ahead in class.
