I grew up in Sussex with a loving family that saw the the importance of education both academic and experience driven. My parents were a teacher and a nurse and their values of helping others to serve the community run strongly within me.
I studied Sport Science BSc and Sport Psychology MSc at the University of Portsmouth with the view of working in elite sport as a Sport Psychologist. However, after a year of training to become a certified practitioner I realised that my passion lay in educating younger people rather than those who had already made it to elite level sport. I therefore changed career path and completed a PGCE at Brighton University.
I want to be a tutor to help children that would benefit from some extra help to either boost their confidence in achieving at school or those who aspire to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Experience: I have worked as a primary school teacher for the past 4 years, two years as a PE teacher and two years teaching in year 5.
