Hi, my name is Matt and I`m an experienced secondary English teacher based in South London. I`ve been teaching for 14 years. I love teaching English and work hard to ensure all students make progress.
Happy to offer tuition to anyone in Key Stage 3 or 4. I currently teach the AQA English Language and English Literature specifications at GCSE but happy to adapt to other specifications and exam boards where necessary.

I have significant experience teaching students with additional learning needs and I am currently studying towards an MA in Special Needs Education so have a good understanding of different learning needs and how to manage barriers to learning.

Full DBS available and fully trained in safeguarding/child protection issues.

I went to university in Canada but moved to the UK at the beginning of my teaching career. My qualifications are fully recognised in the UK and I hold qualified teacher status here too.

Availability: Available most weekday evenings and would consider Sunday evenings as well.

Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English Language and English Literature
Currently teach the AQA specification - but could adapt for other exam boards.
Have also taught Key Stage 3 History, Geography and Religious Education.
6 years experience marking GCSE English Language exam papers for the exam board.
