I am currently employed as an English Tutor in a local high school, working mainly with year 11 students sitting their English Language and Literature GCSE. This is my third year in this role and during the past two years I have helped my students attain excellent results. I am currently preparing my students to sit the AQA Language paper, and the AQA Literature paper, as well as working with several KS3 students requiring additional support.

I have a DBS check for my current role. I hold a full, clean driving license and I am happy to travel to your home.

Availability: I am available on weekdays 4pm-9pm during term time, and during the daytime in school holidays. I am also available at weekends.

Experience: I am able to build positive and productive relationships with my students, and encourage them to reach their maximum potential. I am familiar with the English KS3 and KS4 curriculum, and have experience of tutoring students in years 7-11. I am able to identify areas of weakness, provide resources and set homework tasks as necessary. I am able to provide excellent references from my employer and from students that I have tutored who have achieved excellent GCSE results.
