I am a PhD candidate in Creative Writing with four years of tutoring experience. I specialise in preparing students for exams by showing them that there is an approachable method for tackling texts. My methods turn unseen text questions into fun exercises and seen text questions into opportunities to maximise marks. Having studied English at every level, I have a deep knowledge of the subject and can use engaging resources to strengthen students’ analytical voices.

Availability: I am currently available on all the weekdays and on a Saturday at whatever time of day works best for the tutee.

Experience: In the four years that I have been tutoring, I have taught children at nearly every level. Having tutored nearly twenty people, I have a good amount of experience at getting different kinds of learners to engage with texts. I have taught Key Stage 2, 11 plus, Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A level and have some experience tutoring children with autism and dyslexia.
