I am a very experienced secondary school science teacher with a proven track record of raising achievement. I have a degree in Biology and PGCE from Nottingham university and recently completed a teaching Physics refresher course at Bedfordshire University. I am a level 1 NLP coach and experienced GCSE Biology examiner. Currently I teach A level Biology and level 3 BTEC Applied Science part time at an FE college
Availability: Wednesday all day plus early evening and weekends
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have been a secondary school teacher for over 30 years holding positions of Head of Science and various leadership roles including Headteacher. I am now leading up to retirement with part time teaching and private tuition. I specialise in general science at KS3 -KS4 and Biology A Level.

What a Fantastic tutor! Julia is an educator not just a teacher she is totally committed to helping your child achieve their potential. Having used tutors for my three children over the years, for just about every subject, I can safely say Julia is one of the best out there. She tailors the lessons around your child and is highly organised. I would not hesitate to recommend her. The patience of a saint!
