I am currently Head of Humanities with over 15 years experience and have been successfully tutoring for the last eight years. I really enjoy working with students 1:1 in order for them to achieve their goals and have had many successes with seeing students gain their university places as a result of the personalised teaching and confidence boosting that they need to pass their examinations with flying colours.

I always think that a telephone conversation or visit to ascertain the needs of the student is paramount to plan for the first session. Often students feel that they can learn what is needed but have little skills to actually retain the information and apply it to the examination. I always aim to make students feel comfortable and able to ask questions that they may not have the confidence to do in a class situation.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends
