Availability: I am available on the following weekdays:
Monday to Wednesday (5:30pm onwards)
Weekends (flexible times available)
Other times can also be arranged.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I am currently a Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Leader at my University whereby I conduct tutorials and problem classes for 1st year Biochemists. These sessions are designed to help students transition from A-level to university as well as helping them out with coursework assignments, lectures and problem sheets. The sessions are prepared in advance in order to highlight particular common problem areas for the year group. These are based on previous experience and also reports that are given to me by lecturers of the 1st year modules.
Moreover, I also hold weekly drop in Q and A sessions where students from both 1st and 2nd year can attend in case they have any queries about their modules.
I have also previously tutored GCSE students during my A-levels.
