Information about Graham
After achieving a first class Physics degree and MSc in Theoretical Physics I started a career in teaching Physics. I am passionate about teaching and learning and have spent the last 18 years building an outstanding Physics department that consistently achieves within the top 10% nationally.
I recently received the lord Glenamara award in STEM as recognition of my students outstanding results over the years. These results come from developing an excellent working relationship with the students. I explore a varied approach to teaching and learning, utilising IT and practical demonstrations in order to introduce and embed theory.

Experience: I now have 18 years of experience in teaching A level Physics but have also taught other courses though the years including GCSE, IB and HEFC. I have been an OCR examiner but teach AQA and as such have a good understanding of best practice and common misconceptions. This experience has helped my A level students gain some of the best results nationally over the years leading to a national award in teaching.

We highly recommend Graham. He has been teaching Physics to our son for several months now. Graham has proved reliable, knowledgeable and ready to go the extra mile to make sure the sessions are effective. He would also create bespoke homework in between sessions.

A great tutor, who has helped my son greatly with his physics his understanding of its concepts. Mr Graham always prepared relevant resources based on what my son was struggling with, going into plenty of detail in areas my son found the most difficult. Throughout the sessions my son was able to make a great deal of progress and found himself much more confident in his physics ability.
