Having studied Biochemistry at University, I have built upon my mathematical and analytical skills through conducting challenging experiments and data analysis. My strengths of efficient organisation, leadership and effective communication skills as well as my ability to work in a cohesive team environment are represented by producing highly executed team presentations but also outside the learning environment where I was a member of the Ladies Second Lacrosse Team. I am resolute in my ability to never give up and to get the most out of any opportunity that I am lucky to experience. My strong desire for achieving my goals is shown by my hard work ethic and resilience in aiming for the top marks in my course and publication of my dissertation supports this. I am very keen to learn new things and challenge myself outside of my comfort zone. My determination for success and tenacity is demonstrated in my work, my sport and my ambitions in life.

Experience: I have tutored my friends at school in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I find using a whiteboard and visual aids to explain the course material is very helpful for the student. I created mini quiz tests which would go over previously learnt work. This ensures repetition of material which helps commit to long term memory.
Furthermore, I have helped friends with Biochemistry exams and coursework at University. This involved researching beyond the course to ensure I could sufficiently explain from all angles the reasoning behind, for example a particular molecular pathway.
Additionally, I have coached children lacrosse during the holidays and so I am used to working and adapting to individual needs and capabilities.
