I currently teach at an adult education centre. I specialise in beginners and improvers and pride myself on raising the confidence of my pupils. My aim is to help my students to advance to a stage where they don`t need me anymore! My lessons are fun, light hearted and satisfying. I can even provide equipment/machines. I can teach sewing and overlocking (special machine that neatens edges)

Experience: I`ve been teaching sewing and dressmaking for many years. I teach at an adult education centre, and also private lessons for individuals and groups. Group lessons are fun for parties and ladies nights in! Before having my family, I owned a successful shop, selling evening and bridal wear and making one-off couture gowns for customers. I also owned a factory business making uniforms so I`ve seen both ends of garment construction from the fast factory made to the hand-finished. I`m now very happy passing on my knowledge, and really enjoy helping others to enjoy sewing with confidence.
