I am a Science Teacher and Year Head at a secondary school in Romsey (Hampshire). I specialise in KS3-KS4 (GCSE) Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as the Primary to Secondary transition for year 6 children in the local area.

I am passionate about helping young people of all abilities to reach their full potential. As a Year Head, I am driven by a desire to help young people to not only achieve the very best GCSE results, but also to help them to develop essential learning behaviours and attributes that guarantee success in higher education settings and in the working world. Given the national lockdowns that we have all been subjected to and the extended periods of school closure across the country, I believe that there will be deficits in both of these areas for the large majority of our young people over the coming years. I would like to make sure that this does not happen and give as many people I can, the best foundation possible.

I have 5 years of experience as a Science Teacher and three years of experience as a Year Head. I currently teach children of all ages and abilities within the 11-16 cohort. I can cater tuition to any age within this category and can tailor the content delivered to meet the requirements of Foundation, Higher Tier and Triple Science exams.

Availability: I am available 7 days a week.

Mon - Fri: Afternoons and evenings after 3.30pm.
Sat - Sun: Mornings between 9am - 1pm

Experience: I hold a first class degree in Marine Biology & Oceanography and have 5 years experience at secondary level, teaching AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
