Information about Dina
I am a 23 year old graduate. I completed my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at the University of Nottingham, and my master`s degree in advanced chemical engineering (very creative I know!) at the University of Cambridge.
I received top in my class throughout my whole student life, in both Nottingham and Cambridge. This shows my determination to achieve excellent results and my passion for science!
I received the highest mark in my country (Jordan) in both chemistry and food & human nutrition GCSEs and the highest mark in the world in my maths As-level (C1,C2 and mechanics).
My recipe for success is to always push yourself to learn more and NEVER be hesitant to channel your curiosity. Always ask questions whatever they might be. I am super excited to pass on my knowledge and experience, and, hopefully, be able to inspire you to reach for the stars!
Other than work, I enjoy running, cooking, and have passed my grade 8 piano exam. Looking to becoming a concert pianist in the near future!
Availability: I am available any time of the week between 10 am and 10 pm. Just message 24 hours in advance to check availability.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: As mentioned in my bio, I have a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Nottingham and a master`s from Cambridge. I have taken the position of team leader for many design projects and have led my own research project on nanoparticles for biomed application in Cambridge. My talents lie within the worlds of chemistry, physics, biotechnology and engineering.
During my university journey, I have gained considerable experience in teaching and helping fellow colleagues with their studies, and prior to that I was a piano instructor and I worked with younger students. With whatever I teach, I believe that each student is unique and I run my classes at their own time/pace.
I have two degrees in chemical engineering and have specialised in biotechnology in my masters. I have worked with BP on a research project on electrochemistry (solid oxide fuel cells), and have gained a year in industry in environmental engineering. I have gained a lot of experience in team work, teaching, and presenting my work, which, combined with my passion for science, makes it ideal for me to pursue tutoring.
