Claudia

Welcome. My name is Claudia and I am a working, experienced tutor, teaching both primary and secondary school students. I want to work with my students as much as possible to improve their understanding of their learning: whether that’s in gaining vocabulary, essay writing, or reading comprehension. As a 2:2 graduate in Creative Writing and Journalism, their success and their enjoyment are both important to me, and with an understanding hand to guide them, there will be guaranteed improvement.

Availability: I am available Friday 12-5 for online lessons.

Experience: I have been working for an online tutoring company for 1 year+ tutoring primary and secondary school students (+GSCE) for general English skills and examination preparation. My past experience is vast, having done freelance 1-1 tutoring, teaching classes of 10 children in Korea for two months total, and teaching adults (classes ranging from 1-10) in Colombia for over a year. In addition, I try to always keep in touch with teaching as a craft, and have recently passed the infamous CELTA course teaching adults, currently am enrolled in an online 120-Hour TEFL course, and completed a 60-hour TEFL course in the past.
