Chris is originally from Oxfordshire, and has worked extensively in theatre, film and voiceovers as a professional actor. He has also diversified as an EFL teacher, training at British Study Centre, Oxford for his CELTA qualification. He speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys tutoring individually from beginner to intermediate speakers. His passion for yoga led him to Kerala and Rishikesh to train with masters in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha styles.

Experience: Chris is a professionally trained actor from the prestigious Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and has many years experience of international touring theatre, film and voice over work. Chris has extensive workshop leading experience to adults and children in drama, acting, characterisation, improvisation, theatre games, elocution, public speaking, ensemble, voice and movement in more than 15 countries.
A CELTA-qualified EFL teacher Chris brings his drama background to the fore in his dynamic and professional classes. He has many years of experience teaching adults and children in locations as various as language academies in Oxford, public schools in Thailand and universities and NGOs in Nicaragua.
Also a Fluent Spanish speaker with 1-to-1 teaching experience leading learners from beginner to GCSE and A-Level standard. His passion for language and his open, engaging and relatable methodology are perfect for those wanting to really get inside a passion for the language. Having travelled extensively in the Spanish speaking world from Andalucia to Costa Rica he has extensive background knowledge on culture and variation in accent, dialect, slang and vocabulary.
Chris holds both a 300 hr RYT trained Ashtanga Yoga Teacher qualification as well as a 300 hr RYT trained Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. His practice can be adapted for beginners, intermediate and advanced students requiring one to one attention, whether it be asana alignment, sequencing to reinvigorate home practice or a nuts and bolts beginners basic session.
