Fully qualified teacher and examiner with 12 years experience preparing students for GCSEs and A-level RS and Philosophy.
I am a passionate teacher, with a love of my subject and excellent knowledge of a range of disciplines within it. I rigorously plan every tuition session and ensure that in my sessions I cater for different levels of ability and learning styles.
Knowledge and creativity are key to my lessons, and I always provide my students a range of resources to help them achieve their potential.
My aim is not just to teach students for the exam, but to foster a deep understanding and connection with the subject, and a desire to use the exam as a way of showcasing this.
Availability: I am available online only.

My son was not enjoying A level Religious Studies so I decided to find a tutor for him and I am so glad that I found Lizzy on tutor hunt. Her lessons were very engaging and she knew how to bring out the best in my son. My son really enjoyed his lessons with Lizzy and he does not always connect with everyone but he did with Lizzy. His work and grade significantly improved so I am thankful to Lizzy. She is an excellent tutor and I would recommend her to anyone!

I can highly recommend Lizzy. She has all the qualities you could ever require. I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend her to any parent looking for a tutor with the following attributes: integrity, positivity and her 5 star teaching abilities and patience. Her consideration for the wellbeing for her students, quality makes her more outstanding. She`s taught my daughter A level RS. The improvement is impressive as my daughter has learning difficulties. This doesn`t stop but having Lizzy, peace of mind for me. My daughter knowledge is to par with my son who is A☆; student. That`s how far the combination of my daughter drive and determination to excel and her 5 star teaching abilities. Lizzy is a very kind hearted, considerate tutor who makes the lessons enthralling and engaging, I can listen but truthfully most of it`s too complex for me.
