Hi there. I run a maths and computing faculty at a secondary school in london. I am a highly experienced maths teacher who now spends a great deal of time developing the practice of other maths teachers. Over the years I have gained a great deal of expertise. I am able to break mathematical concepts down in my explanations with precision so that pupils can develop their understanding quickly. I am a huge fan of using manipulatives/representations to support mathematical understanding. I have been involved and led a number of teaching and learning projects across schools. I am fascinated by how learners understand maths. I am just as comfortable teaching maths at A-level as I am delivering maths lessons to primary school students. Teaching is a hugely rewarding experience, whether it is whole-class teaching, focused group tutoring or 1 to 1 tuition. I am committed to developing mathematical understanding in all of my students and my aim is to bring as much academic success as I can to my pupils. I am new to this site but have experience tutoring students of all different stages of education.
