I have just retired after being a full-time secondary school teacher for 29 years. I have a wealth of experience in helping students to achieve all that they are capable of at GCSE and A-level. I have a First class Joint Honours degree in Chemistry and Mathematics and a Masters degree.

I have extensive experience of teaching AQA and OCR A-level and the AQA GCSE chemistry and trilogy specifications. I have helped many students to achieve the highest grades. Over the years many of my students have pursued veterinary science, medicine and engineering degrees and a substantial number have secured places at the most respected universities .

I am more than happy to help with anything from building confidence to perfecting exam technique. My approach is to help identify areas that you need help with and then to provide targeted work to help improve these areas. I am highly skilled in providing invaluable help whatever the need - whether you need to develop your understanding of the fundamental concepts or wish to refine your examination technique.

Availability: At present I have no availability. As the exam period commences I will have a very small number of evening slots becoming available for present Y12 or Y10 students.
