Information about Rosalind
I am a dynamic tutor who aims to inspire, stimulate and motivate.
For me, it is most important that a student feels confident and comfortable as a basis for progressing academically. I aim to put students at ease and help them believe in themselves, ultimately working towards reaching their full potential.
I have over four years of tutoring experience in both primary and secondary English. I graduated with a double first in History from Queen Mary, University of London. Since then I have worked in communication and copywriting for two major charities, and am currently a freelance writer and voiceover artist for children’s television.
I am academically highly qualified, creative and imaginative, and dedicated to bringing out the very best in all my students.
Availability: Monday-Friday, during the day and evenings until 9pm.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Over four years of tutoring experience in primary and secondary English, from five years upwards.

We used Rosalind to tutor our son for approx 8 months in English to assist him in achieving his GCSE target grade. Rosalind did one better as he achieved one grade higher. We can’t thank and recommend Rosalind enough, she was friendly, accommodating, organised and positive. Bottom line she knew what she was doing, Rosalind helped develop our sons creative writing and assisted in simplifying his 3x exam text materials which enabled him to be to be more relaxed, understanding and knowledgable in his preparations.

Rosalind is fantastic & have no hesitation in recommending her. She is teaching both my sons (Year 8 & Year 11) and both boys have said that they enjoy their lessons as she is enthusiastic & knowledgable.
She encourages them both to think about what they are writing/reading.

Rosalind has started teaching our son a month ago. She’s always on time, she’s very polite and speaks a nice clear English. She is well informed about the new GCSEs requirements. Our son said that she helpful and “knows what she’s doing!”
