I am passionate about science and math and excited to help students succeed. I have 12 years of experience teaching and tutoring students and have tutored primary, secondary, A level and University learners. I have had the opportunity to live and work all over the world and teach in formal and informal settings such as working in zoos, aquariums, as a marine biologist and conservation jobs. My experience in industry gives me insight and relevance into topics to help students engage and bring in real world examples into my teaching. I am originally from the Oregon, USA and have a Bachelors of Science degree in marine biology from the University of Oregon and I have a Masters in Biology from the University of Miami Ohio and currently teach secondary science in a school in Plymouth UK. I teach Biology and Environmental Science to all ages and maths, chemistry and physics up to GCSE.

Science can get tricky easily, it`s really like learning a new language! You can easily become demotivated, so it`s important to find the right tutor for you that can help you not only learn but also enjoy the learning process and build your confidence! I am passionate about science and love teaching students of all ages. I am upbeat and fun which helps students to gain confidence and makes learning exciting and achieves excellent outcomes.
