This year I am a full time athlete, funded by my tutoring. I am trialling for the GB rowing team but when I`m not at the gym or on the river, I love curling up at home with a good book or watching Friends for the 100th time.

I studied Aeronautical Engineering at uni which I loved because it was all about problem solving! I like looking at a problem and thinking of different ways to solve it. This comes out in my teaching style as I am very adaptable - if you don`t understand something then I will find an interesting and applicable way to explain it to you. Preparing for exams and applying to uni is daunting, but I`ve done it all before so can help you on the way. I initially spend some time figuring out a new students strengths and some things they need to improve on. I believe practice is the best way to improve and can help structure revision timetables to make sure you are the most prepared that you can be in the run up to your exams. This will give you the confidence to get the best out of yourself and ultimately achieve the result you deserve.

Experience: I worked in a secondary school as a sports coach for 5 years and have experience tutoring A-level maths and GCSE maths and science, as well as preparing students for 16+ entrance tests. I can tutor A-level and all years below that including help preparing for 11+ entrance tests all the way to help with engineering CV prep.
