I am a qualified secondary school Modern Languages teacher but have also worked and lived abroad, which has given me the opportunity to develop a good working knowledge of German and Spanish, as well as Arabic, which I am keen to pass on to anyone who would like to learn this fascinating language. I am also qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Experience: I currently teach languages part-time in two local schools and have also been providing private tuition for the past 5 years, to both adults and schoolchildren.

I have a good knowledge of the main examination boards` requirements and can teach to whatever board is required. I can tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each student, whether that is for an exam, going on holiday, working with foreign business counterparts or purely for personal satisfaction.

My lessons are innovative, lively and up-to-date. I am also happy to provide homework in order to prepare students for exams but I also believe lessons can be enjoyable as well as educational and, where appropriate, I have introduced games, quizzes and role playing, which can be effective in developing specific language skills.
