I graduated from Newcastle University with an honours degree in English language. My subject specialisms are in the history of English and language change, though I currently teach the whole A Level English Language curriculum. English is my native language, though I also have some Italian. I am very passionate about teaching and about education and relish the opportunity to work with prospective students.

Availability: I am available in the evenings and at weekends, and significantly more during school half terms, though my availability may vary due to school commitments (parents evenings, etc.) and other personal commitments. I welcome enquiries into my availability, and will always try to be as flexible as possible to meet your tuition needs.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I am in my eight year as a qualified teacher of English, teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE English language and English literature, and A Level English Language students. My degree has given me a high level of written language fluency, and so I’m also more than happy to help with university level essays, spelling, punctuation and grammar checks as directed by the student.
