Experience: I have spent the last 2.5 years working with the world renowned practice Adjaye Associates, led by Sir David Adjaye. During my time with Adjaye Associates I mainly worked on 5 principal projects across London, UK and Accra, Ghana. The majority of this time was spent on the National Cathedral of Ghana. The proposal for the Cathedral is for a 5,000 seat auditorium beneath a dramatic concave roof. Serving as a place of worship and a community hub, the building also houses a series of chapels, a baptistery, a music school, art gallery, and Africas first bible museum. My role was as project architect, leading the interior architecture team in producing RIBA stage 4 and 5 interior information.
The other 4 projects were I played a principal role were;
- to develop proposals to refurbish and extend the much loved Brixton Markets,
- to develop a global brand vision and design the Paris flagship store for the fashion designer KENZO,
- the refurbishment of Londons Lancaster West Estate, where the Grenfell Tower is located,
- and Cube Haus; an affordable modular housing solution for small and awkward urban sites.
I also have experience working in a small commercial design practice; 21st Architecture Ltd were I mainly worked on the development and design of a large range of residential led architectural developments.
