Information about Ash
I am a qualified and current GCSE Maths and GCSE Computer Science Teacher. I have been tutoring for over 10 years in both subjects to help my students build confidence and achieve their personal bests.
My approach is to understand what my students want from the tutoring sessions (e.g. achieve target grade, fill in gaps, re-take) and build a custom programme to make this happen. This includes bringing relevant resources to each session along with exam papers for my students to practise from. I also make sure I keep parents engaged throughout the process with a catch-up at the end of the session.
At present, I am a senior school leader and have been Director of Maths and Head of Computing within the last 8 years.
My qualifications include a B.Eng. (2:1) in Computing from Imperial College.

Ash is fantastic! Worth every penny! We are so pleased we contacted him when our son was concerned about his Computer Science GCSE progress following the Covid-19 disruption to lessons and learning. Ash was able to quickly assess our son`s level and identify topics that needed working on. Professional, organized, and efficient, Ash delivered high-quality lessons to build knowledge and skills.
