With over twelve years` experience as a private tutor and a degree from Oxford in biochemistry, I`ve helped many students enjoy learning and achieve their dream grades in maths and science. My past students have gone on to medicine at UCL, QMUL, Oxford, and Cambridge, and many other top university courses.

Tutoring online since 2013, I work very hard to get great results. I pace sessions carefully to make sure students are getting very detailed notes written down and enjoy learning about the big topics.

Experience: I`ve helped students at all levels and believe in really getting to know what students need help with, then bringing great lesson plans and carefully chosen past paper questions to boost students` confidence and build a path to doing well in exams. My past tuition has covered all the major A-level courses for biology and chemistry and many GCSE science and maths courses. I`ve been giving tuition online by video conferencing since 2013. I try to make my lesson plans vivid and colourful, with interesting examples, diagrams and pictures. I`ve also assembled a library of about 800 packs of past paper questions that I use to help students practice specific topics.

I`ve also helped students who wanted to do well in maths and science without it being their main priority and have gone on to courses like a degree-apprenticeship with BMW (2023 start), history at Exeter, English at Southampton and Birmingham, design at Central Saint Martins and criminology at Lancaster. For students getting ready for university, I can also do introduction-to-university tuition covering topics like current issues in the biosciences and extra statistics techniques.

Besides professional tuition, I volunteer with The Access Project, an educational charity providing extra help to students.
