I am a global prize-winning and award winning accountant, with experience in practice and industry, and prior experience tutoring.

I studied ACCA in practice, with first time passes, winning the global prize for highest marks worldwide in paper P7 (first out of over 14,500), and gaining the highest mark worldwide in P3 with Kaplan Financial LLP.

I also have a degree: a First in Accounting.

I am currently European Head of FP&A in a multi billion $ company, and have previously worked in a FTSE 50 company (and a subsidiary of Coca-Cola), across a number of different roles:
- Internal Audit Manager (responsible for Europe)
- Risk and Control Manager
- Retail Finance Manager (UK) and
- Global FP&A Manager (responsible for China)

I am part of ACCA`s Leaders of Tomorrow Programme, 3 times nominated in the British Accountancy Awards, winner of New Accountant of the Year in the PQ Awards, Listed in Finance Director`s Top 35 Under 35 List, and I now want to use my knowledge and experience to help others with their accountancy studies.

In Practice I was the Office technical accounting lead, giving me a good grasp of technical accounting across a variety of different industries, but I`ve also been told I can break things down in a very understandable way. This helped the last person I tutored to first time passes in her exams, despite her thinking she would never be able to pass when we first started working together!

I want to be able to give something back and want to help people through their studies - and it`s not all about learning technical points, it`s also about exam technique and conveying to the marker that you have a good grasp of examined concepts - and I`m here to help with both. Some tutors will just teach you how to pass an exam, but I`d like my students to have a good grasp of concepts as well as exam technique. This will help you to answer any unexpected questions in the exam, and also give you confidence that you know the syllabus going into your exams!

I got 3 A`s in A-level, in History (91% overall), Business Studies (94% overall) and Economics (90% overall). I`d be happy to help with these subjects too.

I have also been on a number of Excel financial modelling courses, and need to do this daily in my job to understand P&Ls, forecasting, scenario analysis, business valuations, cash flow forecasts, return on investment appraisals, and a number of other things. I`m happy to help with any Excel (or PowerPoint) needs too.

Experience: I`ve worked in practice (Audit Manager, Technical Lead), and in 2 FTSE 50 companies across a number of roles. I have good working experience to offer, but exam wise I have first time passes, a prize winner in an exam, first in the world across Kaplan Financial LLP in another, and prior tutoring experience.


I have been tutoring since c.2010, and have tutored a number of students across ACCA, ACA, CIMA, as well as Masters, Degrees and A-Levels, among other things. I have also successfully tutored starters (new to book keeping or accounting, early AAT students).

I am also an approved mentor as part of ACCA and Oxford Brookes University`s Applied Accounting Degree, where ACCA students are also able to gain a degree if they submit a dissertation on one of a number of set titles.
