I studied a BSc in Mathematics and Mathematical Learning from the University of Chichester as well as studying a PGCE in Mathematics for 11 - 19 at Canterbury Christchurch.
I am a qualified Pearson Edexcel Examiner for GCSEs.

I searched on tutor hunt to find a tutor for my granddaughter and found Dean. I specifically wanted a tutor who was currently teaching in a school and had an up to date experience of the curriculum. My granddaughter has enjoyed the on-line sessions apart from being very nervous at the start which is understandable. Dean has improved her understanding of mathematical concepts and during her recent GCSE exams she has not felt anxious and this is all down to Dean. Before, she had a tutor, I was worried she would not do very well in Maths but due to Dean she has been put in for the higher paper. He is well organised and has a professional, friendly and supportive manner. Thank you

Dean is an excellent maths teacher. My daughter has benefited greatly from his tutoring over the last year with GCSE level maths and has felt extremely well supported. His lessons are well planned with copies of the lesson notes after lessons. Dean has helped us further by focusing lesson content on preparing for various tests and assessments that have taken place throughout the year. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dean to improve understanding, skills and confidence with maths. We think he`s awesome!

Dean helped my son with GCSE Maths and he describes Dean as "Amazing". He found ways to explain GCSE Maths in a way that quickly made sense to my so. He is organised and accomodating and sends helpful notes after each class. My son feels much more confident now after his sessions with Dean who we highly recommend! Thanks Dean!
