Information about Samantha
I am a Philosophy and Religious studies graduate who studied at the University of Kent, achieving a 2:1 with honours. During my secondary school years, I achieved, 9 A*-C grade GCSE`s, including an A*s in English and Religious Studies. For English (KS2-KS4), I have a lot of experience with AQA, EDEXCEL, WJEC and EDUQAS exam boards for both Language and Literature. I sat the exam board OCR for Philosophy and Ethics, achieving A`s and B`s during my A levels. Due to my experience gathered in University, I am comfortable tutoring a range of exam boards for Philosophy and Religious Studies.
Availability: I have flexible availability, and I am available on weekends if need be. I tutor online only.

Experience: For the past 3 years I have tutored English from KS3 to KS4, and Philosophy KS4 to KS5. I have taught over 3,000 lessons in English, Philosophy and Religious Studies, helping over 150 different pupils. I have helped pupils achieve a 9 at the end of year 11, and I also have experience tutoring pupils with SEN.

Samantha has helped my son to think more broadly about fictional and non fictional text, and prepare for his exams. She is patient and explains things in an age appropriate way.

I’m so glad we found Samantha. She is proving a real help and we have definitely noticed an improvement in my daughter’s knowledge and grades. She seems to enjoy her lessons with Samantha and welcomes the help. Samantha’s communication is excellent and she is always punctual and reliable.
