I have a BSc in Mathematics. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked for a Japanese Trading Company. I am currently Head of Ks3, in a comprehensive secondary school.
Alongside, Bsc and PGCE, I hold professional financial qualifications.

My journey started of tutoring friends and family. My first student was my nephew, tutoring him through his 11+ who went onto secure a place at Bancroft School, he is now completing his Masters. Family friends who got places in Woodford county and Colchester Grammar school. Both these students are currently in university, one studying Medicine and the other In LSE. Since then it has grown through personal recommendations.

I am also a mother of three children, over time this has helped me appreciate the different teaching approach needed for younger learners.

I offer 1-1 tuition at rates stated. Blocked bookings can be negotiated depending on tutees. Alongside 1-1, I have group sessions. These are small group, 4-5 pupils max. Please contact for availability and information.

Experience as an examiner for Edexcel exam board.
I have taught:
GCSE mathematics, functional maths, Additional maths, and further maths.
Exam boards:
Edexcel, AQA and OCR.

Past Tutees from Ilford County/ woodford, Beals,`Valentines, Oaks Park , Bancroft and Colchester Grammar School.

I teach mostly from my home, and Online remote sessions.
I am also an experienced Maths Mastery practitioner.

My goal is to make my tutees achieve their best, my aim is to make them comfortable and confident in their learning. I believe confidence is half the battle to excelling in maths.


I give feedback after every lesson, regular homework and tests after each topic.
For 11+ preparations, I carry out a pre-test. I will give my professional judgment on realistic expectations and commitment needed.
