I am a first-class Politics & International Relations graduate, having completed my degree at the University of Manchester in 2022. I also completed the GDL (law conversion) in 2023, graduating with a Distinction. Currently, I am training as a barrister at the ICCA in London. At A-level, I took History, English Literature, and Politics - I am an all-rounder when it comes to essay writing subjects. I would say my specialties in terms of degree subjects are comparative politics and IR. At A-level, I have a deep understanding of both the History and Politics syllabus, with American Politics and Russian History being a personal favourite. Alongside this, I am really interested in current affairs, so I keep up with US, UK and global politics. My approach to teaching will be conversational, as I do not believe lecturing students makes a topic particularly exciting. I will specifically focus on improving grades by targeting subject understanding, competent essay writing, and examination preparation. I will be confident to take on A-level and university students.

Experience: Throughout my time at school, college, and university I have studied essay-based subjects. As a result of this, I have been able to hone my essay writing skills in order to consistently produce first-class work. My ability to translate an argument into a sophisticated and clear essay is invaluable for tutoring anyone studying history and politics.
