Information about Eleanor
Having recently completed my Masters in English Literature at the University of Winchester, I am a twenty-four year old creative, forward-thinking individual, seeking to help educate and inspire the youth of today. I adored education whilst also joining in with many sports and theatrical groups. I know that learning is different for every individual, as I myself find I am a far more visual learner, and I am hoping to help others in their learning.
Availability: Having recently moved back to Dawlish I am available most evenings, some days and afternoons and most weekends. I will be away from May on-wards but I available until then. Please feel free to contact me to find out any more information.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have a large amount of experience with working with individuals as well as groups. Over the past three years I have worked in youth work, running educational sessions for young learners aged 15-17., whilst also being responsible for their pastoral care.
I have additionally taught English as a foreign language to European students (aged 10-11).
Alongside this I have taught English Literature to a group of year eight students struggling with the curriculum at a local school in Winchester where I studied in my role as Student Ambassador. In these positions I have gained lots of experience in working with different ages, and different learning levels in helping them get to the next level in their studies. I have a passion for teaching and helping others, and love being able to work one-on-one with students working at their speed to help them understand and learn.
