I gained a first class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. Upon graduation I was awarded the 2015 Royal Holloway Creative Writing Prize. As well as writing I also enjoy making music. I`m a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter.

Availability: I am available weekdays starting from November.

Experience: I have experience tutoring children in English Language, Literature and Creative Writing. I have also worked at after school clubs, where I would regularly organise workshops and activities and look after large groups of children.

I have worked with children of primary and secondary age. I have tutored children with learning difficulties such as ADHD and ASD.

I believe it`s important to provide a holistic approach to learning, offering mindfulness techniques and considering the emotional well-being of the child, since exams can be a stressful time. I will aim to boost your child`s confidence, focusing on sparking their imagination, creating a supportive and friendly environment to work in, and encouraging them to discover and explore the subject in a way that suits them best, since each child is unique, with their own skills and interests.

For Creative Writing, I have devised a number of fun and engaging activities to help children gain the skills to write confidently. Aside from exam pressures, writing can be a great way of unwinding, giving children the ability to escape to another place.

I have up to date English Language and Literature GCSE revision guides. I can provide stationery, worksheets and past exam papers.
