I have been working in the education sector for over 10 years. I have worked in a number of different roles, with a number of different age groups, giving me a broad understanding of how students learn and how to help them understand new information. I have been teaching A Level sociology for 7 years. In my current school I teach As level and A level sociology, as well as As level psychology and level three BTEC health and social care. I have an undergraduate degree in sociology and a PGCE. I also have a masters degree in the Sociology of Education from UCL, specialising in differential educational achievement and social class backgrounds.

Availability: I am available during the week in the evening after school. I am soon taking maternity leave from school, but will be available as a tutor up until birth.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: 10+ years working in the education sector. This includes various roles including teaching assistant, lecturer in a college, and teaching in a secondary school sixth form.
7 years working as a Sociology A Level teacher.
Undergraduate and Masters degree in sociology.
PGCE - teacher training.
