I have been a qualified primary school teacher for 8 years now teaching in a range of year groups including: reception, year 2, year 3 and year 6. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring 1:1 due to the impact that a one hour session a week can have on a child’s ability and confidence. I can teach maths, writing and SPaG (for reception to year 6) and will personalise sessions to meet the needs of the individual, providing different activities to aid the learning. As I have been in both SATS years groups, I am well aware of the expectations of all areas.

Experience: Primary education with early years degree from the University of Birmingham with QTS. I am currently employed as a ks2 teacher at a large primary school with 8 years teaching experience, including reception, year 2, year 3 and year 6 (both whole class and SATs intervention). I have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum expectations with experience of teaching pupils with additional needs. Enhanced DBS checked.
