I have a degree in Biomedical Science Bsc (Hons) in which I received a 2:1. I teach Biology up to degree level and Physician Associate Studies at MSc level.
I have a passion for science and love breaking down complex ideas into simple ones. This has translated into opportunities to teach science for small groups and individuals.
I enjoy developing interesting ways to see scientific ideas. I am patient and relate to those I teach making them confident and engaged in learning.
I believe that learning can be an engaging and exciting process and can have real life applications. I aim to facilitate you as a student to raise your abilities in the sciences, with a collaborative and open approach.
I am thorough and organised and will ensure that any concepts that have been difficult for you, are well understood before moving on. I will tutor you by means of a learning plan agreed with you.
I can also focus on exam preparation specifically how to format short essays for exams questions that inevitably come up.
Please note that I plan most lessons in advance.

As an undergraduate I ran sessions provided by the university to first year university students on the biomedical degree course.
After graduation, I have helped those at the same university with revision preparation and tutoring on a broad range of topics on the course.
I have also previously taught children as a result of recommendation and can change my approach to fit the level of study.
