I’m a warm, friendly English tutor who believes in building both confidence and skills. I’m currently completing a PhD in the humanities and have a genuine love for reading, writing, and helping others engage with language in meaningful ways. I’ve published work in both academic and creative nonfiction, and I enjoy creating a calm, supportive space where students can develop.

Lessons are fully tailored to each student — whether that’s analysing unseen poetry, improving essay structure, strengthening grammar, or preparing for exams. My sessions are suitable for KS2, KS3, and GCSE learners. Each hour-long lesson includes a balance of practice, discussion, and feedback to build understanding and confidence step by step.

Experience: I’ve tutored English across KS2, KS3, and GCSE (Language and Literature), and I’m familiar with both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I support students in building key skills such as comprehension, essay structure, vocabulary, and exam technique.

Beyond tutoring, I’ve worked with children and young people in schools and libraries, helping learners of all confidence levels. My academic background provides a strong foundation in text analysis and clear writing — skills I enjoy sharing to help students progress at their own pace.
