Information about Kate
I am currently working in the nuclear sector in a chemistry based technical role with a bit of project management and safety thrown in. I have a PhD in nuclear chemical engineering and a masters degree in chemistry (the best subject!). I am also a chartered chemist through the Royal Society of Chemistry.
I am very passionate about younger women in STEM subjects and readdressing the balance for the future.

Experience: I taught laboratory chemistry to 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students throughout my PhD. I have also previously been a private tutor for some years covering GCSE chemistry and physics and A-level chemistry.
