Hamish

Hi I’m Hamish, a 5th year medical student at the University of Oxford. I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences and was awarded the British Pharmacology Society prize for research I undertook as part of my BA. I am now continuing on the clinical part of the course in Oxford.

I had a successful school career, achieving 11A*s at GCSE and 3A* and an A at A Level. I scored above average in the BMAT and received 4 offers for medical school (Oxford, UCL, Imperial and Bristol). In my spare time I enjoy rowing and sailing, rowing for City of Oxford Rowing Club and previously sailing for GB at a Junior level.

Experience: I have tutored a range of students from undergraduates to primary school students, having assisted in 2nd year medical student pathology seminars and working on multiple 11+ courses. I also volunteered at my secondary school to assist 6th form students with Oxbridge and medical applications.
