I spent 20 years in South America. I am passionate about the Spanish language and communicate as a native. Since my return to the UK in 2013 I have been tutoring students from GCSE through to A-Level, as well as conversation practice for pleasure. All of my teaching takes place On Line. Along with my private tutoring I also run regular group Spanish courses for adults as well as children.

My translation jobs include: two bilingual children`s books and a novel about the Spanish Civil War.

Experience: I have worked as an English teacher in Merida, Venezuela and Ecuador where I gained valuable experience and was able to develop my own unique teaching methods that I could later apply to my own private students.

I ran and operated my own travel agency in Argentina for 10 years during which time I was responsible for the daily running of the business which included the training of high-end bilingual Tour guides, negotiating with local suppliers as well as developing bilingual speeches, websites and presentations for clients.

I have a very student-led approach to tutoring as I believe everyones learning journeys are unique. I generally like to divide lessons into different sections to offer some structure whilst focusing on areas that the student is interested in at a pace that suits them.

I like to use visual aids such as photos for conversation and vocauluary. Excercises for verbs with lots of repetition and level-appropriate literature for pronunciation and comprehension.
