I am a highly qualified English teacher and I have taught at a prestigious grammar school for the past decade.

My students have all made excellent progress and they have fulfilled their potential in both English language and literature exams.

I tailor my lessons to suit the individual needs of each student. Lessons are dynamic and interactive and the focus is on fostering an enjoyment of the subject combined with meeting the examination criteria.

I am familiar with all exam boards (including AQA and Edexcel) and have years of experience as an exam marker.

After discussing the individual needs of my students, I outline a plan to deliver the course to maximise the outcomes for each pupil-whether this involves working towards passing GCSEs or simply developing confidence as a proficient speaker, writer and reader.
