I am a friendly, reliable and experienced Assistant Head and Year 6 class teacher, who loves working with children.

I live in Redbourn and teach full time at a school in Hemel Hempstead. I have a full DBS check, first aid training and a clean UK driving license.

I also have an MA Postgraduate qualification as a Maths Specialist Teacher (MaST).

Availability: Weekday evenings after 5.30pm (Hemel or Redbourn area) during term time. I can also provide sessions during weekdays or weekends throughout school holidays by arrangement.

I offer 1hr, 1.5hr or 2hr sessions tailored to your child`s individual needs. The focus can include a combination of:

Maths: number sense, arithmetic, problem solving and reasoning

Reading: fluency and comprehension

Writing: SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar) and handwriting

I specialise in sessions focused on preparation for end of Key Stage SATs exams in Y6, and consolidating the foundations needed for secondary school. I use resources and assessment materials aligned with the National Curriculum and these are incorporated into my fee.

Please note I do not tutor for the 11+ exam.

Experience: I have experience teaching all Primary curriculum subjects in KS2 (Years 4, 5 & 6) and upper KS1 (Year 2).
