Hi!
I am an English Teacher of 26 years’ experience. I have been a successful Head of English (I led the best-performing core subject in the school) for 7 years, and a Deputy Headteacher for 10 years.
My specialism and strengths are at GCSE. At this level, I have taught: Edexcel, AQA, Eduqas and Cambridge IGCSE, and so have a detailed working knowledge of how to achieve success in each. I can – and have – taught to Grade 9 pass in both Language and Literature.

My passion is genuinely for tutoring students to achieve their true potential, and one-to-one teaching is the perfect setting in which to do this. Too often, circumstances other than the student’s ability have an influence on their achievement.
