Joe

Hi! My name is Joe and I have recently graduated from the university of Leeds with a degree in Mathematics & Philosophy after achieving an A in A-Level Maths, and an A* in GCSE maths. My other A-Levels include an A in Biology, an A in Chemistry and a B in Physics. I am based just outside of Milton Keynes, but I am willing to either travel or have my students work here. I have worked as a private tutor in Leeds for both GCSE and KS3 maths for the past two years, and so have a good understanding of how to maximise my students potential, enabling us to achieve our common goal of their success.

Experience: I have just graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 degree in Mathematics & Philosophy, after achieving an A at A-Level maths and an A* at GCSE maths. Whilst in Leeds I worked as a private tutor for two years with both GCSE and KS3 students, and so have a good understanding of the curriculums involved for multiple exam boards. This two years of experience has also taught me how to approach lots of common problems students encounter regarding some of the harder to grasp topics. As someone who was frequently helped by tutors during KS3 and GCSE, I am now very keen to pass on the skills that I have learnt throughout my A-Levels and University, so that I can help those who have the potential to achieve top marks but just need some assistance getting there (exactly like I did). I will be providing my own resources for each lesson, as well as setting homework tasks every lesson that are tailor made for the student.
