Information about Laura
My name is Laura. I am a 25 year old teacher with four years of primary teaching experience.
I studied a BA in Primary Education with QTS and graduated in 2015. Since then I have taught Early Years and Primary aged children, including delivering KS1 SATs and the Phonics screener.
I have been teaching full time for the last four years, but I am going to work part time alongside tutoring. I endeavour to teach individuals in a more personalised way, in order to support children to meet the demands of the curriculum.
I will offer my first session for free, as I would like to get to know my tutees first. I will use this session to plan sessions tailored to their individual needs.
Availability: Currently available after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have supported Year 1 pupils in preparation for the Phonics Screener, Year 2 pupils for the Phonics Screener resit and also delivered the Year 2 curriculum for the KS1 SATs.
