I`m a highly-experienced teacher and head of maths with an in depth knowledge of requirements at secondary level maths. My aim as a teacher and tutor is to encourage learning through building a positive and supportive working relationship with my students. Some people struggle with maths and want to build underlying confidence, others are aiming for a specific grade in their exams. Whatever your aim, I can help. I love travel and recently took time out from full time teaching to fulfil my lifetime`s ambition to travel round the world. I`m now back at home in Brighton, teaching part time and available for tuition.

Availability: Please discuss individual needs for timings and session lengths with me. I am happy to tutor from my home, near Preston Park, or travel to places easily reached on foot or by bus.

Experience: I have been a secondary maths teacher since 2002 and a head of maths since 2012. During the past 14 years, I have taught all levels from ages 11-16, though I am trained to teach up to A-level. I have also given private tuition to numerous students across this age range (including first year A-level).
