Fully qualified and experienced over three decades in schools (maintained and independent) and colleges I teach and coach PHYSICS and MATHEMATICS at Key Stages 3 and 4, GCSE and AS to full A-level and beyond. I also offer GCSE chemistry.
For over ten years I have marked A-level examinations.
For more than twelve years I have been tutoring individuals of most ages (year 6 to adult) and abilities.
I am patient and discrete, encouraging all students to aspire to their full potential by exploring their styles of learning. Each individual is special and unique. I make my tutorials relevant to them in their own situation and in general life.
Availability: Hours to suit both parties. Flexible.

Great tutor as described on the site. Gordon is welcoming and very relaxed but continues to provide formative sessions. He is able to help with both maths and physics A level by discussing and explaining fully, while ensuring his pupil can answer questions on the topic covered. We have benefitted from our sessions and would definitely encourage others to use his services.

Gordon is very professional and a good tutor. He has shown patience and structured his tuition in a way that has ensured our son understands the topics discussed fully before the end of the session. Gordon also sets a few tasks to be completed by the next session, which ensures the learning is reinforced. I would thoroughly recommend Gordon as a tutor.
