Information about Val
Over the past 10 years, I have owned numerous Maths and English Reading Centres and have helped hundreds of children. I have specialised knowledge in eye kinetic, perception development, learning and behavioural difficulties.
I am trained in the areas of Dyslexia (Language), Dyscalculia (Math), Attention (ADD/ADHD), Dysgraphia (Handwriting) and Autism. I am a Whole Brain Practitioner with the Kobus Neethling Institution. I also have a Finance Degree and Art Therapy background.
I can also offer Study courses and show your child how best to study according to their brain dominancy.
I have a fun and creative approach to teaching. I use various mediums and methods to help resolve confusion and ensure that your child reaches their full potential, quickly and easily.
My first lesson will be spent ascertaining your child’s areas of difficulties and how best to address them.
I am available for one on one tutoring (individual and group) and online tutoring, whichever you prefer.
Availability: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 9am-5pm
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I am SEN trained - specialising in Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Attention Issues (ADD/ADHD), Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia. I also have quite a bit of experience with Autism. I am a Whole Brain Practioner with the Kobus Neethling Institution. I have a Finance Degree and have worked in Investment banking for 13 years, early on in my career.

Val came to us for the first time on Saturday 20th June, and she has a lovely manner and my daughters both liked her approach very much. She has assessed them both, and with my youngest who has learning difficulties with Maths in particular, Val has shown a lot of knowledge and her recommendations on how to progress with my daughter we are confident will really help her to understand Maths better. We are looking forward to our daughters working with Val over the long term, to ensure they are helped in Maths and kept on the right track to improve confidence and ability.
